got mine....loved it for the first week. then decided it was a lil big for portable use. so i keep it in my bag. but yeah it sure does protect it

i have the impression ventilation is important for the ipod. I take it that the STM may not be good in heat dissipation. Yes, No , Full of Sh!t?

I dont think that it will stop heat ventilation... The inner case is thin enough that it doesnt really stop usability or heat ventilation... It allows pretty much normal use!

I know that STM has the iPod mini clear Skin... but i think the case is custom designed for the bigger iPods

Can I easily attach my Shure E2 to my iPod with this case? Also can I use my iSkin Exo2 instead of the plastic sheath? Last question, can the Shure E2 case fit inside the accessory pouch?

Contrary to what's written above, the iPod does *not* fit into the Apple dock when in the inner sheath.

Does anyone know if an iPod with an iSkin Exo/Evo on will still fit inside the Cocoon? I don't like STM's plastic case so I'd like to combine the Cocoon and an iSkin silicon case.

Yeah, Ive used my iskin exo/evo inside the cocoon. It fits well, but obviously isnt secure compared to the STM one as its missing the velcro. But it is a good fit.

Anyone get there hands on the 4th Gen verson of this cocoon? Any better or more of the same with new skins?
Man i hate that hole on the bottom...i'm sure it lets in dust and stuff in there that not need be in there :- anyway to cover it? The one on the top i understand but the bottom one is pointless i say
