Teski Roadie Case | iLounge

The poor-man's Showcase. :-D

...which is not necessarily a bad thing.

I'll buy one when the shipping will be less expensive than the product itself... outside US costs a lot...

I bought mine last month when it first came out and it works great.

I run with it every day no problems so far

Wonder if you can use this thing with an EXO3?

Posted by CoolerPod on March 10, 2004 at 10:01 AM (PDT)

good question re: the exo3. Any one know the answer?

Posted by eez on March 12, 2004 at 7:56 AM (PDT)

Looks like it is sized to fit the iPod, so it wouldn't work with the exo3, but why would you want it to?

It's like wearing a pair of shoes over a pair of shoes... grin

I just got this and my overall impression is good. I would only use this as a case with armband for the gym and not as my everyday protection case. I have an EXO2 for that. My only gripe is that the included arm band is way too small for my arm! I mean there is enough material there but I can't make it bigger becuase the velcro is that is there is the hook part on both sides. The next available loop part is in the next setting smaller. I tried to wear it as is but my arm started turning purple after about two minutes. Do you know if they have a bigger arm band, or extension? I mail them but no response yet.

Does anyone here even own an exo3? For as long as I've known they've been on backorder at ####.biz....Which makes me wonder if they've ever even been released....

Hi, I got an exo3 about a month ago from ####. It's nice. I decided, though, that I preferred no cover on the buttons and scroll wheel, so I did surgery and now it's effectively an exo2. :->

By the way, I like the looks and protectiveness of the Xtrememac.com armband better than this, at least for use at the gym. Just wish xtrememac would ship the product sometime soon. They were saying mid to late March, I think, for shipping.

I have been using teski roadie in the gym for the past 1 month, and I am very happy with it. the way it is made it keeps my arm cool, its very light weight and well designed. and I hate neoprene. I like the fact that its open faced, makes it easier for me use the controls.

I have been in contact with people at TESKI and they have been very helpful! They are got my e mail regarding the armband size problem and are totally helping me out. In this day and age where customer service seems to be at an all time low, they guys at TESKI are doing things the way they should be done! I have been using the Roadie with the belt clip for about a week and a half now and I am finding that it is working out great. My iPod was dropped by a not to careful friend of mine while it was in the Roadie and it survived without a scratch. The face of the Roadie is open so if you are unlucky enough to have something strike it where there is no protection, then you will probably get a nasty gash on your iPod, but otherwise, this case works great.

Does anyone know if an ipod with the orginial exo or the exo2 skin fits in the roadie? I would love the extra protection while I run.

I just picked up my Roadie today in person from the Teski offices. If you are in the area you should drop by the Hayward office to pick one up. I've only used it once so far & I love it!! I believe it is by far the nicest, lightest & cheapest priced case for jogging for the 20gb iPods. * * * * *

Rec'd my roadie a week ago, and to my surprise found a clear cover screen protector. its made of clear material, i'll guess its PVC. I can use all ipod functions through the cover. I am surprised no one has mentioned this find? I called Teski and they confirm including free screen protectors in all orders. folks, try this case, this is the last one you will need for your ipod. what a clever idea..

Is this suitable for use with the belt clip or is it mainly used with the arm band - as I will want to use both and want to spend the least moneypossible!

Have had my Teski Roadie about a week and I LOVE it. I use it for walking, running, on my cycle, and at the gym. They must have expaded the arm band, because it fits very nicely on my not petite arm. Also came with the clear plastic protector. Thanks desicharm-I almost passed on this unit until I read your post!

I've only had my Roadie for a couple days, but so far I'm loving it. My arm is a bit small, and I find the included arm band just a tad loose. I also don't think I got this screen protector people are talking about - wonder if I can get one from Teski if I ask nicely enough...

At any rate, it's a steal for the price, especially considering that the OEM case costs $39. Very well designed case - good job, Teski!
