I do not get what these companies see in their cases. Of all the accesories for minis, why in the world would they make a bunch of cases? I think that the don't see the reality, that minis are the least thing you would worry about getting scratched. I think they should about thinking protecting the reagular ipods, with their white plastic, and metal back. I wouldn't be that worried about a mini getting scratched because unlike the regular ipod it has a die cast metal case that is colored. The slightest scratch an a regualar ipod are noticed. I mean they can continue making these, but they should look more into cases for regulars.

Yea. I'd totally get one of the these if they made it for the 3G iPods.

this company is really starting to turn me off. they haven't returned any of my emails in the past month!!!
their website says they "welcome inquiries from around the world." maybe so, but they certainly don't respond to them.

Tunewear will be rolling out a version of Icewear for 3G iPod. I confirmef this via an e-mail from Tunewear founder/designer. Tunewear is planning on making Icewear available in the US Apple Stores by July.
One thing the review didn't mention was the grip of the Icewear sleeve. On the Tunewear site it show a photo of a mini iPod resting on the screen of your PowerBook, at 55-degree angle.
Can't wait to get one for my 3Gen iPod.

-> The Bad: No Click Wheel or screen protection, not the best case option for those who demand complete protection, or those without the iTrip mini.
Hmm, I wonder why this is bad, I guess complete protection is not the designers goal... and what should he make there, a flip-flop door... (uaah ugly)
I have a 3g 40 gig iPod and have a similar translucent "suit" for my iPod and I am happy to have bought it.
I only put if off the iPod for for minor cleaning reasons
and the iPod - escpecially the back - shines after a year of use as new as out of the box, without even one scratch...

my name is hfo, and am the designer for TUNEWEAR.
We are almost about ready to start shipping in the US, realistically end of Aug 2004, also we are working on the 4G iPod ICEWEAR, but contrary to what I stated in some of the inquiries, 3G iPod ICEWEAR has been canned in choice of getting out the 4G version. I appologize for slow answers and if I can be of any help, email me. Products are in th US now and we are working on the final logistics. You should be able to buy direct at our online site.
I sincerly appologize for any inconviniences to all persons who wanted this pronto.
