i bought one of these DJ cases a few weeks ago and expect it in a week or so. i bought the burnt-orange/black combination, which i think looks classy and matches my home entertainment decor.

i just ordered it yesterday from vaja. does it really take 30 days to arrive? because i ordered the "stock" version of ivod dj featured abouve..the black and red ones. but when i ordered it wasnt in stock..so i guess its 30 days then. thats a long time and i already anxious about it! but its ok though i searched the internet and found a promotion code which takes 20% off the original price down to $64 so i think its a bargain =)

yeah i got it from cnetasia as well. but be careful when registering. i will advise not to use your actual email address..just fake it or anything cause after registering with my actual email address i picked up like 100 spam emails in a day! mostly comes from germany. but i sorted that out now. really annoying

I have one of the newer generation iPod Photos (30GB). Which iVod DJ should I get? I'm araid the one for the 4G will be a bit too small, and the one for the "old" iPod Photo (40GB) will be a bit too large.

Hello Khanh and all,
I registered for CNETAsia.com, but I still don't know how to obtain the code, would you please help? Thank you.

OK, OK you talked me into it!

I bought an iVod DJ for myself as a birthday present. I also went for the black and red option and it should be with me in 21 days.

Thanks for the referral to the CNETAsia.com site and thanks for the warning about potential junk mail - I got my promotion code after creating a hotmail account and using that as my email address.

It looks as though the promotion codes ARE unique to each enquiry and the 20% discount only comes off the cost of the case and not the shipping ($21.00 to the UK !!)

To those of you who couldn't locate the offer - to get the code you need to go to 'Premium Newsletters' on CNETAsia.com once you have registered. Be quick though! The offer finishes tomorrow!

Can someone please help me out with two questions A.S.A.P.. I am almost convinced in buying a Vaja iVod DJ, but want to make sure of two things first. 1. Does having the colored-over click wheel protector get annoying since you are not able to see the buttons? 2. Is it worth getting the clip? It seems as if the plastic clip is so cheesy when compared to the plush leather Vaja case. Also, when you remove the clip, you still have the metal knob sticking out. Can someone who has already received their iVod DJ please help me out with these questions.

I really like the look of the i-Volution 4G, especially with its translucent click wheel protector, but the iVod DJ with its opaque vinyl click wheel protector is a cold shower for me. My problem is that I have a 40Gb 4G and Vaja's website is directing me to the DJ. If I select the 20Gb model, I suddenly have the i-Volution as an option.

So, question: can one use the i-Volution with the 40Gb 4G iPod? Has anyone attempted this? Is it akin to stuffing a watermelon in a banana peel or is it a feasible option for the chubby 4G owners like myself?

Thanks in advance...
