I ordered this item some time ago (prior to offical release) and when it arrived was disappointed. It would not secure itself properly to 2 different car plugs. I returned it for a refund. However, I believe your unit is different because it appears to have some sort of extra gasket on the tip which probably helps with stability. If anyone experiences a loose fit, I wonder if it's early "pre-gasket" models.
