Just bought the component and stereo cables for my Apple TV. Lovely design.
I don't blame Apple for not including cables with the Apple TV. There are at least 6 different possible configurations, so what would Apple have included? Probably HDMI, but my TV is component, so that would have been a waste. I don't know why anyone was surprised that no cables were included.
