As a budget-priced "micro system" for users of iPods who also happen to still have CD collections, Gear4's new CDM-100 (£90/$150) includes two speakers -- each with two drivers -- as well as a main console with AM/FM radio tuning, a top-loading CD drive, and an iPod dock. Interestingly, the main console's clock includes an alarm and snooze feature, as well as station memory for the radio. The system includes an elaborate remote control and power supply, as well.
