Despite our historic disinterest in pouch-style iPod and iPhone cases, we were big fans of Moshi's iPouch when it was originally introduced years ago for iPods, and continue to think that the company has one of the only such solutions we'd recommend in its latest version, designed for iPhones, iPod classics, and iPod touches. The current iPouch ($23) is made with a microfiber fabric that has the ability to clean off your device's screen and wipe down its body on each insertion and removal, with a small headphone or accessory pocket in front and a drawstring at the top to hold the main compartment closed. Available in four different colors, the iPouch also comes with a detachable fabric lanyard necklace and a rubber headphone cord manager, both added to the original design, which has been price-boosted as a consequence. By comparison, the company's Puro ($20) is a relatively plain-looking silicone rubber case that unusually uses a microfiber rear pad to protect the back of the iPhone 4, offering button coverage, play-through screen access and all the expected port, speaker, microphone, and switch holes on its sides. It doesn't include screen protection.
