In order to offer headphones with integrated control functionality for the third-generation iPod shuffle, Scosche has released IDR350M ($55), IDR350MD ($55), and IDR650M ($100), three separate headphones with "TapLine" controls. The IDR350M and IDR350MD are white and black earphones, respectively, each shipped with six sets of replaceable metallic accent pieces that change their side coloration to match or complement various iPod models, as well as rubber eartips to fit different sizes of ears. By comparison, the IDR650M is a more expensive and deluxe model that doesn't include the accent pieces but does include multiple rubber eartips, and classier metal headphone plug and y-splitter pieces; sound quality is supposed to be improved via a slightly larger driver with increased frequency response. All of these headphones come with soft leatherette carrying pouches, and the TapLine volume/multifunction play/pause buttons are bolstered by a microphone on their flip side, which can be used with 2008-2009 iPods and the iPhone family.
