Sold in a three-pack, Apple's Universal Dock Adapters for iPhone ($9) enable you to mount iPhone in any Universal Dock-equipped iPod dock and get a proper fit on all sides. Numbered 12, these Adapters aren't terribly different from others you may get for free in iPod accessory boxes, or the ones that have previously been sold by Apple for 30GB and 60/80GB fifth-generation iPods, but the packaging's changed a little. Note that these Universal Dock Adapters do not make Universal Dock-equipped iPod accessories avoid the standard iPod accessory nag screen, informing you that the accessory was not designed for use with iPhone, nor do they prevent TDMA noise interference with the accessory.
