Sold separately for $8 or bundled with a number of different BoxWave iPhone charging accessories, BoxWave's new iPhone Charging Adapter is designed to remedy a problem that has popped up with the release of the iPhone (and newer iPods): certain accessories can't power iPhones or these iPods. The charging adapter has male and female full-sized USB ports at its ends, and goes inbetween a pre-iPhone USB port and an iPod or iPhone Dock Connector to USB cable plug. Once connected, older battery packs and chargers can recharge these newer Apple products, although there's a question as to whether they'll always provide sufficient power for the more demanding iPhone.
