CaseCrown Mod Stripe iPad Case

As one of a couple of relatively unimpressive OEM-style cases from small vendor CaseCrown, the Mod Stripe iPad Case ($37) is a plastic shell with a gray soft lining and a thin layer of faux leather on the outside. The only interesting part of the design is a stripe made from faux carbon fiber leather that runs vertically down the iPad's center back; CaseCrown leaves a hole in one side for the iPad's non-existent second Dock Connector, and very generous holes elsewhere for port, button, and switch access. We're unimpressed by the ragged edges and other telltale signs of mediocre craftsmanship in this case, which looks cheap from edge to edge.
