DODOcase has introduced its Multi-Angle Case for iPad Pro ($80). The folio case houses an iPad Pro in a plastic tray, then covers it with a book-like cover, which activates the iPad's sleep/wake functionality. An elastic strap keeps the cover closed during transport. That same cover is also used to prop up the iPad Pro for multiple viewing angles — supposedly. A small elastic loop is also included to hold the Apple Pencil. This case is almost the same as the Maritime Colleciton Multi-Angle Case we saw for iPad Air 2, with a plastic tray instead of a wooden one. And there's one other key difference...

The major difference between the iPad Air 2 case we’ve seen and this one — besides the small elastic Apple Pencil loop — is the failure of DODOcase’s multi-angle stand in this edition. The weight of the iPad Pro is such that you can’t really stand the iPad Pro in a number of angles here — it just slides into the same position. In fact, this multi-angle stand is really just a single-angle stand, as seen in the first photo above. It’s still a good case for other reasons, as long as you’re fine with the lack of other angles, but the name is misleading, which makes it tough to recommend.
