Designed by Griffin and co-developer Frontier Design Group to be used with the free iShred Live music making/practicing application for iPhones, iPod touches, and iPads, Griffin's new GuitarConnect Cable ($30) is a six-foot cable with a 1/4" mono plug for a guitar, bass, or keyboard, a 3.5mm port for connection of headphones, an amp, or self-powered speakers, and a 3.5mm plug to connect to the iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad. The cable's thick with a gray jacket, with hard black plastic and metal for its connectors.
