Incipio Bombproof for iPhone 4

Billed as a "shock absorbing" case for the iPhone 4, Incipio's brand new Bombproof ($30) was clearly designed to appeal to military/paramilitary iPhone 4 users: the rectangular, thick rubber block has a curved rear surface that resembles a grenade, while each of the eight colored versions has a contrasting block used as a Home Button protector. Screen film, a cleaning cloth, and an applicator card are included in the package, resulting in a case that's amongst the more comprehensively protective options we've seen for this iPhone model, but lacking in port, speaker, mic, camera, and ringer switch coverage that cases such as Otter's Defender are more likely to include. In other words, this case will absorb some damage, but don't expect your iPhone 4 to escape unscathed from something more than an accidental drop.
