As one of three new Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions pieces of software added to the iTunes Store's iPod Games section, SAT Prep Writing 2008 ($5) offers high school students both strategies and sample test scenarios for the essay writing portion of the common United States college entrance exam. In both text and audio form, the strategies section offers general information on the SAT Test's structure, top ten SAT tips, and college admission tips, as well as specific details on the SAT essay, identifying errors, and improving your score. Three types of quizzes are available: Improving Paragraphs, Improving Sentences, and Identifying Sentence Errors. You can get detailed explanatory feedback during or after the quiz, and work with or without a timer. Results are saved for later viewing and comparison.
