Combining a gooseneck mounting cradle and a charger, Kensington's Car Charger Deluxe for iPhone and iPod ($50) takes care of holding and keeping your iPhone or iPod powered up while in a vehicle. It includes an auxiliary audio cable to provide audio output to a car stereo, and features a unique resizing system that shifts the Dock Connector and padding around to make any iPhone or iPod model fit snugly inside. This mechanism unfortunately relies on some dicey parts, including a spring-loaded mechanism that didn't work perfectly in our testing, and add-on rubber pads that felt as if they were constantly going to fall off when something wasn't inside.
