As we've said in prior previews and reviews of earphones, we've moved away from covering headphones from relatively small vendors based on concerns as to unit-to-unit consistency and quality, but Lenntek's Sonix3 ($70) is another option for those who are willing to take the risks. Made with fabric cables, metal-housed and silicone-tipped earbuds, and a raygun-like headphone plug, Sonix3 looks like a pared-down version of V-Moda's Vibe series, and includes an in-line rubberized microphone and control button on the right earphone wire.
