First Look: M.brdz/Epi Case Epicase for iPhone 4
Though the South Korean company Epi Case's Epicase for iPhone 4 ($32) is a fairly simple hard plastic shell in concept, a couple of things help it to stand out from the masses. First, there's the artwork, which comes from a collection of Korean artists who have a lot of talent -- we actually liked some of the prints on the backs of the shells quite a bit, and there are lots to choose from. Second, there's actually volume button protection, which is rare in iPhone 4 rear shell-style cases; notably, however, the ringer switch hole is sized solely for GSM iPhone 4s and not Verizon ones. The only issues here are that Epicase is extremely difficult to remove from an iPhone 4 once installed, and seemingly unavailable in the United States. M.brdz is amongst the sellers of the case in South Korea.
