Though the price is still a king's ransom by comparison with other iPhone car mounting solutions, the quality behind ProClip's iPhone 4 version of the Adjustable Holder with Tilt Swivel and Pass-Through Connector ($80) remains peerless. Designed for maximum flexibility, the Adjustable Holder has thumbscrew-adjusted arms that open and close to firmly grip an iPhone 4 with or without virtually any case on, plus a ball joint that lets you choose the viewing angle and orientation of the device as you desire -- redesigned with a new joint system in this version. Also key to its appeal is a pass-through Dock Connector, which you can keep attached to any car charging and audio solution of your choice to enable a single-point iPhone connection to your vehicle. Once again, you'll still need to pick a vehicle-specific car mount separately from ProClip, but the combined result is as good as iPhone car installs get. A version with Apple Bumper compatibility is coming soon.
