Scandyna Micropod SE Speakers

As just one of several "pod" series speakers from Scandyna, the Micropod SE satellite speakers each use a unique rounded ABS plastic body to hold a 3/4" tweeter and a 3.2" bass and midrange driver. Three aluminum spikes are used to suspend the closed enclosures above a flat surface, and traditional speaker wire mounts are found on their backs. Stylish wall-mounting brackets and stands can be purchased separately. Micropod SEs can be paired with Scandyna's audio-only iPod dock or video-ready V-dock, or added to three additional units for surround sound, and are available in white, black, silver, blue, yellow, or red versions, each with a yellow and black colored large driver. Grille guards to tone down the yellow are sold separately, as well. They are now sold along with the company's standard Dock as part of The Dock Pack.
