Review: Scosche SoundKase Sport Case for iPhone, 3G + iPod touch
Generic in design, this black neoprene armband with reflective gray strips is called SoundKase Sport Case ($25). It's made to fit the iPhone, iPhone 3G, and iPod touch, with a clear screen protector on the front and holes for each device's headphone port on the back. A mini key slot is found on the left front side. The major advantage of SoundKase relative to highly similar competitors from companies such as Incase is the price, which is $10 lower; on the flip side, the armband's an inch shorter at 16 total inches from end to end, and the design is comparatively plain, borrowing elements from Belkin and Griffin designs without really improving on them. To the extent that you're looking for an armband that works with multiple Apple devices but doesn't do an ideal job with any of them -- more holes are there than are needed for any specific model, compromising water resilience -- and you're not especially concerned about style or having a band that's long enough for huge biceps, this is a fine option at a comparatively reasonable price.
