Pitched as an "18 dpi" alternative (note: actually 6 dpi) to the standard "4 dpi" PixelSkin case, Speck's new PixelSkin HD ($30) has matte top, side, bottom, and front edges, a matte rear block texture, and glossy grid lines between the blocks -- a really neat combination of plastic finishes that contrasts with the all-matte, rubbery original PixelSkin. Available in four colors, PixelSkin HD is a one-piece case and does not include screen protection for the price, but does have top and side button guards.
