SwitchEasy's Helix ($30) for iPhone 6 goes a bit beyond most of the company's usual cases, which are generally known for their effective simplicity and affordability. There's more design work in Helix, which uses a hard plastic honeycomb structure to "disperse most secondary shocks." SwitchEasy claims the case uses a new manufacturing technology, "Aero-Tech," which essentially provides more protection than one would expect from such a thin, lightweight case. Helix has extended corners for added protection, and also offers coverage for the volume controls and sleep/wake button. Additionally, the iPhone speaker's sound is directed out to the front of the case. Helix comes in a striking red-and-white pattern or all black.

There’s no doubt that Helix certainly feels like a solid case, even though it’s quite light. The sound tunnel works as advertised as well, filtering sound toward the front of the case without a drop-off in clarity. Overall, there’s a lot to like about Helix, not the least of which is its bold design. It earns our high recommendation.
