Verus Case's Damda Slide ($32) for iPhone 6 Plus is a mostly rubber wallet case with a plastic backplate that slides out to reveal storage for two cards. Damda Slide has a secure fit with properly responsive button coverage for the iPhone 6 Plus sleep/wake button and volume controls. The case comes in five different colors, three of which match are close matches to the iPhone 6 Plus colors — we tested the dark silver and champagne gold versions.

As a non-folio wallet case, Damda Slide warrants direct comparison to Incipio’s Stowaway Advance for iPhone 6 Plus. Incipio’s wallet case is a few bucks more, but it’s also a bit less bulky and includes a kickstand feature. Verus’ Damda Slide has a nicer card compartment, though — it’s easier to get cards in and out — and we prefer the slick look of the case to Incipio’s offering. In the end, Damda Slide receives the same general recommendation as Stowaway Advance; the choice between them will come down to personal preference.
