Three of XtremeMac's new iPhone 3G/3GS and iPod nano 5G cases have arrived in the form of Microshield Accent ($25), Microshield Mix ($25), and Microshield Tatu ($25). Microshield Accent is a combination of a clear hard plastic shell with a colored rubber side and bezel protector for the iPhone 3G/3GS, while Microshield Mix for iPhone 3G/3GS has a hard plastic back with a hexagonal pattern, plus a second colored rubber bezel protector. Both come with clear screen protectors. By comparison, Microshield Tatu for the iPod nano 5G is a completely clear hard plastic shell that snaps on to the front and back of the latest nano model, leaving a hole for its camera, plus holes at the top and bottom; the Tatu name comes from a pattern that appears on its front and back. It includes a video stand made from clear hard plastic; the iPhone versions do not.
