ZVOX 325 Single-Cabinet Surround Sound System

Description:
The ZVOX 325 is a revolutionary single-cabinet audio system for use with TVs, iPODsĀ® and PCs. It combines high-quality speakers, amplifier, a built-in powered subwoofer and the ZVOX PhaseCueTM virtual surround sound system - all in one, easy-to-connect cabinet. The 325 produces lifelike, realistic, room-filling sound - including great bass. It delivers “big system sound” from a single cabinet not much bigger than a receiver or VCR. It’s the perfect way for people to add high-quality sound to TVs, MP3 players, PCs and many other audio devices.
Features:
The 325 is compact. Only 17"w x 5"h x 17"d.
The 325 is simple to install. It uses only one connecting cable to hook up to the audio outputs or headphone jack of a TV. You can also use it with iPods, PCs, satellite radios, portable CD players, game consoles - anything with a headphone jack.
The 325 is simple to use. Once connected to a TV, it can be controlled using the TV’s remote. It’s auto-on/auto-off circuit comes on when you turn on your TV. The “owner’s manual” is one sheet of paper.
The 325 fills a room with high-quality sound. The ZVOX PhaseCue system uses “out of phase” signals to create a very wide soundstage. You’ll swear you’re listening to speakers 8 feet apart from each other - even though the 325 is only 17” wide.
The ZVOX PhaseCue system also acts as a virtual surround sound system. While listening to movie soundtracks, owners will hear three dimensional sound - with sound effects literally “surrounding them.”
The 325 uses high-quality speakers and amplifiers. Unlike many audio systems in its price range, the ZVOX 325 doesn’t skimp on speakers. It uses three long-range 3.25” speakers and a 4"x6” high-mass long-throw powered subwoofer. Created by renowned speaker designer Winslow Burhoe (formerly with AR, KLH, Boston Acoustics - and founder of EPI), the 325 is a genuine high-performance audio system.
The 325 uses the ZVOX Infinite Compliance system - which connects the outer two main speakers with an acoustic tube. This system helps create big sound from a small cabinet.
The 325 is bi-amplified, using a specially designed amplifier that includes electronic contouring for superb frequency response.
The 325’s 4” x 6” subwoofer uses a high-mass long-throw design and incorporates a bandpass cabinet designed using proprietary software.
The 325’s three 3.25” main speaker drivers use ferrofluid and neodymium magnets to create remarkably loud, remarkably clear sound.
The system is magnetically shielded so it can be used near a TV or monitor.
Unlike most systems in its price range, the 325 uses an MDF (medium density fiberboard) wood cabinet - instead of plastic. MDF is the preferred construction material for high-performance speaker systems.
A subwoofer output jack on the rear allows owners to connect a separate powered subwoofer (optional).
A credit card-sized remote control adjusts volume up and down, and has a mute function.
Auto-on/auto-off circuit senses sound from source (TV, iPod, PC) and turns on the 325 two seconds later. Three minutes after it has received no signal, it automatically shuts the unit off.
Simple, single-cord connecting system uses a mini stereo jack input on rear panel.
Two connecting cords are included: one with a stereo mini jack, one with RCA jacks.
The ZVOX 325 is backed by a one year limited parts and labor warranty.
