Congratulations to Jason Squitiere for winning Klipsch’s ProMedia GMX A-2.1 stereo system.

This was a great year, but 2005 is going to be even better. Thanks to the fine folks at Klipsch, iLounge is happy to present a great “Countdown to 2005” giveaway - a fantastic speaker system.

Klipsch’s ProMedia GMX A-2.1 stereo system features state-of-the-art aesthetic design and superb audio quality. Combining a substantial subwoofer for strong, deep bass response and two futuristic satellite speakers for accurate treble and midrange response, the ProMedia GMX A-2.1 system is a perfect complement to your computer and digital music collection. If you were looking for a last-minute Christmas gift for someone special – or yourself – look no further.

iLounge will give away one ProMedia GMX A-2.1 system (MSRP $149.95) to a lucky reader who uses the entry form below. Entry is simple and no purchase is necessary.

You’ll get one giveaway entry for each valid unique and actual friend’s e-mail address you use the link to contact, so multiple entries per person are permitted. Bounced-back e-mails will be invalidated. Entries must include the subject line. Any entry not sent to the iLounge address in this link will not be counted.

Because of the substantial size and weight of the GMX A-2.1 system (30+ lbs.), this giveaway is open to U.S. entrants only. A single winner will be picked from all entries received by 11:59PM, December 31, 2004.

I wish these competitions were open to international residents :(

By Snowy on 12.24.04 at 05:43 PM

same here, for the international residents plea…

it’s a shame that, in this day and age, a lot of people have these contests and give aways to U.S. residents only.

merry xmas, anyway.

By TMACX1 on 12.25.04 at 10:33 PM

You say, ” Entries must include the subject line below.” But I can’t find a subject line for the life of me. I used “iPodlounge Buyers’ Guide 2004,” and hope you accept that!

By Grtmom on 12.25.04 at 11:07 PM

oh, i c, i never read them things.  I c, ahahhahahaha, merry xmas

By TMACX1 on 12.25.04 at 11:16 PM

Yes, yes, yes this is perfectly made for me to use, own, show-off with, love and cherish!

By mirra_bjork on 12.26.04 at 06:49 AM

so are multiple entries per person allowed or not?  first it says “Each e-mail from you to our address with a CC to one friend counts as one entry.”  but then in the official rules, it says “One entry per person. Non-valid email addresses, duplicate or similar IP addresses, or duplicate or similar names will automatically void entry.”

help?

By raekwon on 12.26.04 at 12:44 PM

By Gammorah on 12.26.04 at 07:14 PM

How do I register for this contest?
I have repeatedly sent e-mails only to get them back with a return to sender type message from AVG (Anti-Virus).

ANY and all help welcome.

By ovlov on 12.26.04 at 09:27 PM

i need some new speakers like these!!

By mgun on 12.27.04 at 05:15 AM

Raekwon
You misquoted the rule. It says

“One entry per e-mail RECIPIENT.” not “one entry per person (i.e. sender).

QED. Multiple entries ARE permitted.

By mpet on 12.27.04 at 07:47 PM

Grtmom:  The e-mail subject line should read “iPodlounge Buyers’ Guide 2004”.

By AndyH on 12.28.04 at 08:19 AM

Booooo…US ONLY

By Dmo on 12.28.04 at 08:38 AM

yeah what’s with the US only… the past few comps have been ope n to everywhere.

By Harrison on 12.28.04 at 11:46 PM

One problem with international entrants would be these speakers are the 110v versions, limited to a few countries. And the shipping would cost a shitload , altho i assume international entrants would be willing to pay shipping.

By booksacool1 on 12.29.04 at 02:12 AM

I’ve tried to enter by sending the email, but the emails to the ipodlounge address are returned - no such user.

By phriendof on 12.30.04 at 06:29 AM

^ Me too. I just tried to make 3 entries but the email adress: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) came back undeliverable

By LilAlienD on 12.30.04 at 08:18 AM

iPodlounge is switching e-mail servers today and this problem should be resolved shortly.

By Jeremy Horwitz on 12.30.04 at 09:41 AM

Jeremy, thank you for the info.  The countdown2005 email address now seems to be working—at least my latest entry was not returned as underliverable.

I’m so excited about my new iPod!
I love iPodLounge.com
Happy New Year!

By TjT on 12.30.04 at 02:38 PM

Does it really have to say “iPodlounge Buyers’ Guide 2004” in the subject line? The contest rules didn’t really specify that
