gtkpod 0.99.4
gtkpod is a platform independent GUI for Apple's iPod using GTK2. It allows you to upload songs and playlists to your iPod. It supports ID3 tag editing, multiple charsets for ID3 tags, detects duplicate songs, allows offline modification of the database with later synchronisation, and more.

I’m using .72-2 and it seems very functional (albeit with little frills). In conjunction with EasyTag .30d, it’s a pretty nice setup (although I have no experience with the Mac or Windows software).
Seems a link to EasyTag should also be on the Linux section as it is so well suited…

yep I’m using gtkpod version 0.85.0 and it works very good, I couldn’t seem to figure out how to format the ipod in it but I just used my windows box for that. Works good for everything else though.
