This is a tool to give you easy access to the MP3 files stored on your iPod by making the files visible in a “Music” folder at the root level of the iPod. Inside that folder will be subfolders labeled “F00?Fxx” inside those folders is your music. You can drag either the “Music” folder or any of the “Fxx” folders to iTunes to import that music into a library so it can be played directly from the iPod. You may also copy either songs or folders to any other disk for backup, storage or duplication.

iPod Organizer - 1.0

iPod playlist cloner - 1.2
iPod playlist cloner copies a chosen playlist from your iPod directly to your harddrive into a folder of your choice. iPod playlist cloner then creates an identical playlist in iTunes 3. Because I want a very simple solution without a lot of preferences and cute user interfaces. iPod playlist cloner seems to be the only freeware tool which provides this functions.
HOW - Run the installer. This will add iPod playlist cloner t to your iTunes script menue. If there is no script menue, the installer will create one. - Launch iTunes 3 - Select an iPod playlist in iTunes - Fire up iPod playlist cloner from the script menue - Choose a destination folder for the files in the upcoming dialog - Wait a moment and watch the progress - Be happy about the identical playlist on your harddrive

iPod tracks -> Desktop - 2.2
A set of script that make easy to retrieve iPod tracks directly by iTunes.
The script “iPod tracks -> Desktop” is installed in iTunes script menu.
This script will copy the selected tracks in iTunes (not Playlists) off your iPod on your Desktop, easily.
If a file with the same name already exists in the destination then the user will be prompted.
The way I found to get tracks copied is my small hack, due to this the script has been saved run-only. Sorry.
The script “iPod tracks -> Choose” is installed in iTunes script menu.
This script will perform the same action than the previous, but will let you choose in which folder you want to copy the tracks selected in iTunes.
The script “iPod tracks -> encode” is installed in iTunes script menu.
This script will convert the iPod selected track(s) according to the current iTunes conversion preferences, adding them to iTunes main library.
The script “iPod tracks -> iTunes Library” is installed in iTunes script menu.
This script will add the iPod selected track(s) in iTunes main library, and to a library named according to iPod’s name. If iTunes preferences are set to copy files as they are added to the library, then files will be phisically copied in iTunes Music folder.
The script “iPod tracks (Prefs)” is installed in iTunes script menu.
This script will set up some preferences for the scripts listed above.
The script “Whole iPod Library -> Desktop” is installed in iTunes script menu.
This script will copy the entire iPod library to the desktop, regardless of its internal organization in subfolders. The copy could take a long time, in any case thee user can stop it with the usual Command-. keystroke.
