iPhone 11 Pro Features That Will Make You Want to Upgrade

No matter your current smartphone, the newest iPhone 11 Pro will most certainly have unique features you’d want to experience.

If you have a last-gen model and thinking of going for a trade in iPhone, there’s no better time. Here are its top features you’d love compared to your current iPhone.

iPhone 11 Pro Features That Will Make You Want to Upgrade

Triple Camera Setup

The square-shaped notch at the back of the iPhone 11 Pro is more than just for show. The more expensive Pro model sports a telephoto, ultra wide and wide lens options that unlock a whole new world when it comes to taking photos. Faster telephoto will be sure to please videographers and mobile photographers alike.

Apple has shared several video ads that show off the power of these lenses. The best part is that they’re scratch-proof and work together intelligently to provide the best lens effect. We like the included True Tone flash and built-in microphone within the rectangular module.

Superb A13 Bionic Chip

The new A13 bionic chip is a significant upgrade over its predecessor, the A12. Just how powerful is the new processor? The iPhone 11 Pro can now shoot 4K video at a smooth 60 frames per second on all 4 cameras, including the TrueDepth front-facing selfie lens.

Furthermore, there are battery-saving enhancements and machine learning that maximize the chip’s versatility and power. The Neural Engine, GPU and CPU improvements and Super Retina XDR make for an efficient iPhone that’s better than previous models in every which way.

Retina XDR Display

It’s more than just a fancy term for a new screen display. Super Retina has the same resolution and pixel density as the XS Max and iPhone XS, but that’s where the similarity ends.

For starters, the OLED display of the iPhone 11 Pro has a 2,000,000 to 1 contrast ratio, double than what the iPhone XS had with its Super Retina HD.

Max brightness levels are now 800 nits, compared to the iPhone XS Max’s 625 nits. You’ll be able to see your iPhone’s screen even in bright outdoor conditions, which can come in really useful when you’re out and about.

There’s a second brightness setting when you’re viewing HDR photos and 4K HDR movies, set at a whopping 1,200 nits.

Improved Battery Life

All these upgrades will make you think that the iPhone 11 Pro is a battery hog, but the fact is that it’s quite the opposite. The display, for example is 15% more efficient than the XS’s Super Retina HD and gives you more time to play with your new iPhone a bit more.

You should be able to squeeze up to 5 more hours in a single full charge, which is a feat compared to previous models. It surpasses the iPhone XR, considered the battery king of iPhones.

Night Mode

Night Mode in the iPhone 11 Pro will make you a believer. It takes flash-less photos in dark environments and somehow the picture displays an astounding amount of detail. It wouldn’t be possible without machine learning enhancements and long exposure technology, something that the iPhone 11 Pro has in abundance. You’ll want to take pictures of random subjects just to see how beautiful it will be under the iPhone 11’s Night Mode.

18W Fast Charging

Apple has listened to its fan’s pleas and finally includes a fast charger right out of the box on its iPhone 11 Pro models. The baseline iPhone 11 still ships with a 5W adapter, though it can charge the device up to 50 percent in just 30 minutes. The Pro version has the 18W adapter, similar to ones with the iPad Pro so you won’t have to shell out more just to get fast-charging capabilities.
