Apple Foldable iPhone

The next trend for smartphones appears to be folding smartphones. Many companies have disclosed foldable devices already. However, Apple is yet to say anything regarding a foldable iPhone, despite the fact that Apple brought multiple innovations in the past. Is there going to be an iPhone foldable this year?

When it comes to innovation, Apple is always the one that creates smartphone trends. However, Samsung was the first to reveal a foldable device, and several other companies followed Samsung.

Nonetheless, foldable iPhone might not on Apple’s innovation list. Firstly, there is not a huge demand in the market for foldable devices. It is unknown whether this technology is actually needed by users. It would, therefore, be wiser for Apple to wait and see how other phone manufacturers ‘ devices will be received by customers.

Foldable iPhone might not Be Releasing This Year

In fact, no company is betting on foldable devices yet. During the ‘Galaxy Unpacked event’, Samsung revealed the foldable technology, although it was not released as a flagship product.

Apple indeed addressed, What could be next. Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, affirmed that the company intends to concentrate on “smart devices” during the Consumer Electronics Show 2019. Moreover, there were some hints about surprising iPhone smartphones as well. That means the upcoming iPhone devices are going to bring with them revolutionary technology. It is highly unlikely, that Cook was suggesting Foldable iPhone is on the list.

Lastly, we must mention that Apple doesn’t release two to three iPhones every year. Therefore, testing such risky technology would not be wise if only a limited number of phones could be released. While in the future Apple may be endeavouring a foldable iPhone, 2019 is not the best time to do so.
