5 Easy Lifestyle Changes and Their Tech for 2025

5 Easy Lifestyle Changes and Their Tech for 2025

Every year, millions of people make new years resolutions to create targets for the coming year. Although well intentioned, these resolutions are often set up to fail due to their high commitment and slow delivery, or they can be too far outside someone’s daily routine to be successful.

To be successful in your lifestyle changes for 2025, starting slow and steady will increase your chances of success and enable you to follow through to 2026 and beyond.

5 Easy Lifestyle Changes and Their Tech for 2025

If you want to know how to implement successful lifestyle changes to your everyday routine in 2025, here are five top tips to help you.

1.    Move Your Body More

Whilst many people will commit to a gym membership for their new years resolutions, set a weight loss goal and completely overhaul your diet, it would be wise to simply work on moving your body more to stay healthy.

This doesn’t necessarily mean committing to a hefty exercise regime, but finding a way to move that fits your daily commitments, and doesn’t feel like a huge effort is a game changer.

If you want to track your calories, steps and weight, apps like My Fitness Pal store all your data in one place so you can track your progress in real time.

2.    Eat Better

Although it’s tempting to start the biggest crash diet on 1st January, it’s much wiser to simply make small changes to your diet in favour of a healthier lifestyle. This is much more sustainable to keep on top of, and easier for you to manage around work and family commitments too.

For example, one small change you might want to make to your everyday diet choices is to eat less ultra processed foods. Apps like Yuka scan barcodes of your favourite foods and will give you a run down of how ultra processed it is, any harmful ingredients and a score, helping you to make better choices with your food.

3.    Read More Books

Not only do books allow you to become a more sympathetic and empathetic person, but they can also open doors to brand new worlds and cultures that you’ve never experienced. A well-seasoned reader can visit multiple places from the comfort of their own home, and learn fascinating facts too!

You can expand your bookshelves this January by visiting high street bookstores like Waterstones, which offer an expansive range of books on various topics and genres that will help you explore brand new domains for longer. Larger shops usually have a much bigger range of fiction and non-fiction to explore, so visiting larger branches will usually work in your favour.

If you’re a bookworm and enjoy buying books, you can download their app to collect stamps with purchases and build up credit for free books with every £10 you spend.

4.    Enhance Your Education

If you’ve always wanted to build on your education and learn new skills, 2025 is the year to tackle this goal head on!

With high quality providers like Signum Magnum Education, you can enrol in degree courses from bachelor level all the way up to doctorate for an unbeatable education and a way to pave your way further up the career ladder.

Whether you’re interested in business, law, philosophy or IT, there’s something for everyone to get their teeth into this new year. What’s more, their courses are studied online, meaning you can learn around your day to day careers and other commitments without breaking a sweat.
