TCL’s A300L Designer Series is getting one of its first major discounts for Prime Big Deal Days, with all three sizes dropping substantially on October 6th and 7th.

The 55-inch TCL A300L will fall from $999.99 to $699.99, a $300 discount. The 65-inch model gets the steepest percentage cut, dropping from $1,499.99 to $849.99, while the 75-inch A300L falls from $1,999.99 to $1,199.99, saving $800.

Its system combines six art styles, five moods, and nine scenes into 270 possible combinations, backed by built-in artwork and a library of more than 100,000 AI-generated images. Instead of treating the size of the art catalog as the only measure that matters, TCL is trying to make the screen more responsive to context — a different look for a quiet morning, dinner with friends, a seasonal refresh, or simply a change in mood.

That idea fits particularly well with the kind of homes frame-style TVs tend to end up in. The A300L can carry something softer and more romantic in a first apartment, shift toward a cleaner palette in a minimalist room, or become a rotating backdrop in a shared family space. The point is less “here are thousands of paintings” and more “what should this wall look like right now?”

TCL also doesn’t charge a recurring fee for its included art experience. The A300L’s art content and 100K AI library are positioned at zero subscription cost, making screen changes feel more like part of owning the TV than maintaining another service.

The physical design follows the same adaptable approach. The 55-inch A300L is about 28mm thick, with a white integrated rear design intended to feel less visually intrusive in lighter interiors. TCL also emphasizes flexible placement, including compatibility with a movable stand, rather than assuming the television will permanently occupy one wall.

It also offers an interchangeable light-wood frame, giving owners another way to change the TV’s appearance as the rest of the room evolves. It’s a smaller feature than the AI art system, but it fits the same basic premise: an Art TV doesn’t necessarily need to look exactly the same five years after you buy it.

That makes the A300L an especially interesting deal for renters, first-home buyers, couples still figuring out a shared aesthetic, or anyone whose idea of “finished décor” changes every few months. It is designed around the reality that furniture gets moved, walls get repainted, tastes shift, and a living room can serve several different purposes over the course of a day.

The low-reflection matte display is more of a supporting feature here, but an important one. It is intended to reduce reflections in brighter rooms, where a frame-style TV has to coexist with windows and ambient light instead of only looking convincing in a dark viewing environment.

For Prime Big Deal Days, the 65-inch model is probably the standout value. At $849.99, it is $650 below its $1,499.99 MSRP — a 43 percent discount — and gives the A300L enough screen presence to serve as a major visual element without the much larger footprint of the 75-inch model.

The 55-inch version at $699.99 is the easier fit for apartments and smaller rooms, while the 75-inch model makes more sense if the whole point is to turn a large wall into a changing visual surface.
