With an ever changing meta, Valorant has seen its fair share of rises and falls for most Agents so it can be hard finally deciding which Valorant new Agent is truly worth going all in on and mastering. You may be asking “Who is the best Agent in Valorant?” only to come up with no straight answer.
So to help you with that, we’re showcasing our Valorant Agent tier list to find the best Valorant Agents in the game right now. Oh, and if you’re missing any of the Valorant new Agents and you’d like to try them out, check out U7BUY to find a new Valorant account with the character unlocked!
Check out the tier list we created above and glance over the S-tier and A-tier characters to get a feel for the most powerful Valorant new Agents in the current meta. Higher tier Valorant Agents are decided by overall kit, their viability & playstyle, current in-game relevance, and potential.
We’ll go over each of the S-tier and A-tier characters so you can get an idea of what makes them the best Agents in Valorant and know how to choose through Valorant Points.
But as is the case with all tier lists, Valorant new Agents perform differently depending on who’s playing them, so what may be top-tier on this list may not suit your playstyle. In that case, even if your main is one of the lowered-tier Valorant Agents on our list, if you’ve mastered their kit to its full potential, we’d recommend sticking to them.
What Each Tier Means in Valorant
● S-Tier – The cream of the crop in Valorant right now, extremely powerful, versatile, and dominant in both ranked and pro-play queues. Worth investing your time and effort into mastering their entire kits before they’re nerfed.
● A-Tier – Overall powerful agents that are extremely viable in most situations and maps, however, lack the OP properties of the higher S-Tier Agents in the current meta.
● B-Tier – Valorant agents in the B-Tier aren’t horrible or not viable, but they’re not at their fullest potential in the current meta.
● C-Tier – These Valorant Agents just don’t perform to a level that makes them a reliable pick in competitive game modes. Possibly nerfed, underutilized, niche abilities & kit, or all the above.
S-Tier Valorant Agents
Valorant Clove
Right now, the newest Agent to enter the fray, Clove, is the most dominant Controller in Valorant. She’s a fan favorite and her kit allows you to make aggressive plays in the Controller role which is usually relegated to the backlines.
While Clove has a penchant for mischief, her in-game performance is no joke.
All of her abilities contribute to her style of play, with a self-heal & buff for assists and elims, a DoT decay grenade, and a smoke that can be used even after death. Plus, the cherry on top is their (X) ability, ‘Not Dead Yet’ which allows Clove to get back into the fight and resurrect if they’re eliminated.
What makes the new Valorant Agent at the top of the Valorant meta are their smokes + the aggressive playstyle which gives them a lot of utility & versatility on both sides of the field, especially when paired with other powerful Controllers like Omen.
Omen Valorant
Alongside Clove, Omen is one of the top Controllers on our Valorant character tier list with no signs of being dethroned anytime soon. Omen’s strength lies in his versatility as a Controller and can play both aggressively by teleporting into advantageous spots around enemy teams or passively, keeping an eye out and striking from the shadows.
Omen’s abilities also work incredibly well with each other, especially being able to teleport into his smoke while simultaneously blinding enemies.
Plus, in the latest 8.07 patch, Omen got a pretty massive buff that allows him to interact with objects in ‘Shade’ form while using his (X) ability, From The Shadows. This allows Omen to open doors & use other interactable items and even pick up the Spike as a ‘Shade’ without interrupting or canceling the ability.
A massive buff that makes Omen a much more versatile controller to play with.
Valorant Jett
Ranking as the best Agent in Valorant in the Duelist class, Jett is an incredibly powerful character. Jett prioritizes movement and agility and her kit revolves around her getting around the arena quickly to take down enemy combatants.
This allows her to pull off some of the most impressive movements in the game, which is great for entry or getting away from a risky fight. Her smokes are great for covering her and her team while she quickly maneuvers between smoke stacks, plus her ult Blade Storm is perfect for eco rounds where you need to save up some cash.
Overall, Jett is an incredibly powerful duelist and Agent in Valorant, making her one of the best options for players who prefer movement and aggressive playstyles.
Reyna Valorant
For solo-carry style players, Reyna is among Valorant’s best Agents thanks to her kit.
Her abilities all focus on keeping Reyna alive and always engaging the enemy, with an incredible self-heal, her powerful ‘Dismiss’ ability that lets bullets pass through you, and a great ultimate that synergizes well with the rest of her kit.
Though Reyna excels especially when you’re on a roll getting kills and assists, if you’re not landing shots or you’re not performing optimally, Reyna is lackluster. But if you manage to play her well, she’s near on unstoppable in some matches.
In short, a high-risk high-reward playstyle that’s not suited to everyone, but is incredible when you can pull it off.
A-Tier Valorant Agents
Valorant Raze
Raze is one of the best Valorant Agents in the Duelist class thanks to her versatility and incredible damage potential. In particular, Raze excels in countering certain characters like Cypher since she can break traps and clear out tight spaces with an entire arsenal of explosives.
She also lends herself well as a solo carry style character, so if that’s what you’re into, then Raze is one of the top options in the class.
Cypher Valorant
Cypher is one of the best Sentinels in the game right now, making him the best Agent in Valorant for the Sentinel class. His kit rewards players for being strategic by placing his arsenal of traps and gadgets around hold points.
With the proper use of his abilities, you’ll have an eye on every enemy at all times, making it easy for you and your team to gun down enemy combatants. His kit also got a buff since his Trapwire ability can regen if they’re not broken making it extremely hard for the enemy team to counter Cyper.
Valorant Gekko
While Gekko is by no means at the pinnacle of the Initiator class, he’s slowly but surely climbed his way up the meta. With nerfs to Skye, Gekko is getting a lot more love and playtime, and for good reason.
His Wingman ability makes planting and defusing the Spike a breeze, Dizzy has great utility for finding out where enemies are and blinding them, and his ultimate, ‘Thrash’ is one of the best abilities to take over a site.
Valorant Sova
Sova benefits from the current map rotation and is a solid all-rounder in the Valorant meta right now. Her kit is extremely flexible and works with most team comps which is one of the main reasons she’s ranked so highly.
But because she is one of the more difficult characters to master in Valorant, it bumps her down slightly to the tail-end of the A-tier on our Valorant character tier list.
And that’s our Valorant tier list and we hope you have a better idea of who you should invest your time in learning and mastering. If you’re missing out on any of these Valorant Agents though, check out U7BUY to get yourself a Valorant top up to buy the character you’re looking for immediately!
