Q: I just got a 20GB iPod and am finding that the type in the menus is too small
to decipher without reading glasses (which I obviously don’t wear when I’m just bopping around town or commuting to work on the subway). I’ve tried
adjusting the contrast but that doesn’t do the trick. I can’t find anything in settings to adjust the type size.
Can you help?

A: Unfortunately, the iPod does not allow users to change the font size. The iPod photo’s menus are easier for many people to read, because it has a color screen and better fonts, but unless the following suggestion works for you, you may just have to bring your reading glasses with you from now on. 🙂
One thing you might want to do for playlists and songs is name them with capital letters; the letters will be a bit larger and might be easier to read.
For the other menu items, try and remember which ones are in which position so you can select them without having to read them.
