A: Don’t worry, this is easy to do.
In some cases (depending on how long your iPod has been dormant), simply resetting your iPod will restore the language to English. How you do this depends upon your iPod model, but for recent iPods equipped with a click wheel, simply toggle the hold switch on and off, then hold the menu and center buttons simultaneously for a few seconds.
If that doesn’t restore your language settings, simply refer to Apple’s support document here, which details (for each iPod model) how to numerically navigate the iPod’s menu system to find the Languages menu, without actually understanding what’s on the screen.
