Today, Nintendo of America released the details: June 11, a Polar White version of the DS Lite (like the one shown on Backstage) will be available for “as low as $129.99” from U.S. retailers. The “as low as” reference is a new one for Nintendo, suggesting either that the company is switching to a fluid pricing model for the new handheld rather than a MSRP, or that the company is expecting launch day shortages and price gouging.
