Having already developed the best integrated stand for iPad and iPhone cases, Zerochroma used the 2013 CES to show off iterations on the theme: a new folio-style iPad case with the stand built in, clear-backed, colored-edge versions of VarioProtect for iPhone 5, and separate versions of the stand that can be attached to full-sized iPads and new iPod touches. A much-anticipated iPad mini version of VarioProtect is said to be months away.

This finished full-sized iPad case, Folio ($70) provides an option for users who like the look of folio-style designs but want the versatility of Zerochroma’s 11-angle rotating stand. The front cover looks like leather from the outside, and the rear continues to use a really nicely textured plastic.
