After displaying its Meridian Battery Case for iPhone 5, at least year’s CES, and being the first to ship a final product, Lenmar is continuing to expand its lineup of power products, for both iDevices and Macs. Two new products are coming in March, both of which stand out from the many other battery options on the floor.
ChugPlug ($160) is one of the rare external battery solutions for MacBooks.
Made to work with either MacBook Air, or the 13″ MacBook Pro, the white brick sits in between the two ends of the wall adapter. There’s no need to do any sort of reconstruction of your power system, unlike with competitors.
The smaller Air will get up to four hours of extra battery life, while 13″ machines will get three hours.
ChugPlug takes two hours to fully charge.
Mutant ($200) is one of the single largest capacity, actually practical, battery packs we’ve come across. With 20,8000mAh of power, it can juice up two iPads and two iPhones simultaneously, all at full-speed.
