Netatmo used CES to debut June ($100), a new wearable accessory “only for women”—due to its jewelry-like design, they suggested—that measures your exposure to the sun, and uses a companion app to tell you when to apply sunscreen, end sun exposure, and so on. The company will also show its thermostat and weather station accessories later in the week.
The design of the June bracelet is deliberately akin to fashion jewelry, with a metallic reflective pod held on one’s wrist by a leather bracelet.
A clean companion app helps you track sun exposure with UV information and sunbathing timers.
June will debut in the second quarter of 2014… perhaps in June.
