Parrot has expanded its lineup of iOS-controlled robots with two new additions: Minidrone and Jumping Sumo. Both play off the technology in the original AR.Drone, and utilize cameras that feed a video signal back to the users’ iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Minidrone is a flying unit, although it also has detachable wheels, which allow it to roll along the ceiling, walls, or floor.
Inside, there’s a custom Parrot processor as well as several sensors, including a gyroscope, pressure sensor, and ultrasonic sensor.
Jumping Sumo is Parrot’s first ground-based toy. Not only can the two-wheeled device drive along, moving quickly and making zero-radius turns, but it can also jump up to 80cm.
