A maker of accessories for “the internet of things,” Sen.se introduced its flagship product, Mother ($222). A Wi-Fi-based station, it works with a series of satellite units known as Motion Cookies, helping individuals keep track of numerous aspects of their lives. Launching with 14 apps, Mother supports tracking of things such as how well you sleep, how much coffee you drink, or when the kids get home.
The heart of Mother is this base station, which ships alongside four cookies. It’ll be available in mid-February. It can use passive information collection, or send alerts via push notifications, text messaging, phone calls, and more.
Cookies are also available separately, coming in a four-pack for $99. The battery lasts about a year before the unit needs to be replaced.
