Can I purchase AppleCare for my HP iPod?

    No, you cannot purchase Apple’s AppleCare Protection Plan for the HP iPod.  Apple’s plan only covers Apple-branded iPods and iPod minis.

    Several similar extended warranty policies are available from individual resellers (CompUSA, Fry’s Electronics, Best Buy, etc) that will cover HP’s iPod.  Ask your local store for your options.
