Can I use my HP iPod on a Mac?

Yes, but iLounge strongly recommends against it.

The HP iPod is physically identical to Apple’s offering, and can be formatted for Macintosh using the iPod Updater utility, but HP offers no support for the Macintosh.  Coupled with the fact that you can’t buy AppleCare or call Apple for Mac support on an HP iPod, using an HP iPod on a Macintosh is simply a bad idea.
