Booq’s Cobra squeeze ($195) is a new backpack with 13 separate compartments for your gear, including a MacBook up to the size of a 15” MacBook Pro. The bag’s gray exterior is made of Bionic Yarn, a fabric that combines recycled plastics with cotton — it gives the weatherproof Cobra squeeze a smooth texture that can stand up to the elements.
Most pockets inside are lined with polyester, though an extra cushion is also provided to protect a MacBook.
Cobra squeeze packs a lot of storage into a relatively small area. At 16.9” x 11.8” x 3.9”, it’s far from the biggest backpack we’ve seen, but it uses the space well.
Other than a MacBook, an iPad or two could also fit comfortably, and a front pocket on the top of the bag can handle an iPhone of any size. Two clever side pockets add to the available storage space.
