The Leather Wallet with iPhone 6 Plus Case ($129) is an interesting concept from leather accessory company Danny P. While we’ve seen many wallet cases over the years, this product is mainly a wallet that just happens to have space for your iPhone 6/6s Plus. Danny P. also makes a version for the iPhone 6/6s, and an iPhone 5/5s/SE version of the wallet is also still available. The iPhone 6/6s Plus version of the wallet has seven credit card slots and a pocket for cash. Leather Wallet with iPhone 6 Plus Case comes in dark brown, black, and the brown/blue seen here.
While the wallet is relatively slim and appears to be well-made, the size becomes an issue, as a large phone like the iPhone 6/6s Plus requires a large wallet for coverage. We’ve included a comparison to a standard men’s wallet in the photos above; this is more like carrying a checkbook around. Not to mention that the wallet won’t accommodate a cased iPhone, so unless you feel like putting on a case every time you pull the phone out of the wallet — not likely — you’re not getting any protection during use. Some users who generally eschew iPhone cases (especially those who prefer to carry a wallet in, say, a large inner suit jacket pocket) might find Danny P.‘s offering to be just right. But we’re also assuming the design works better with smaller iPhones.
