San Francisco based artisan case maker DODOcase has released its classic book-style case in an iPad Pro 10.5” version, reducing the price while improving upon its prior Multi-Angle Case design that we reviewed in late 2015 with a slimmer plastic tray and more stable positioning at any angle when used as a stand.
The folio case otherwise retains the same features and design as the prior model, but there’s one small but very significant tweak that makes the case considerably more useful: the multi-angle feature now lives up to its name, thanks to the addition of two pieces of fabric to the edge of the polymer tray that prevents the encased iPad Pro from slipping. It’s definitely a much-needed improvement that addresses our biggest concern with the case the last time around.
The case also still features magnets in the cover to automatically wake your iPad or put it to sleep when you open and close the cover, and an elastic loop for the Apple Pencil. It’s available in solid black or one of three two-toned color options.
While it’s far from the most protective iPad Pro case you’ll find, the DODOcase for iPad Pro is a nice way to provide a bit of protection to your iPad Pro with a unique style.
