The newest product in Griffin’s tough Survivor line, Survivor Power Bank ($60) is a rugged battery which comes with a lifetime guarantee. A 10,050 mAh battery, Suvivor Power Bank boasts 6.6-foot drop protection. A single 2.1A USB charging port can fully recharge an iPhone 6s Plus three times, or an iPad Air 2 once, according to Griffin. The black matte rubber exterior includes a seal at the top to protect the power bank from water and dust. A micro-USB cable is included for recharging, but no Lightning cables come with the battery. A built-in flashlight and battery gauge are also included.
Batteries keep improving, and Survivor Power Bank is another great new option. Not only is this battery protected with a lifetime guarantee — if it “fails to perform as specified,” Griffin will repair or replace it — it’s dustproof and can withstand jets of water. Most importantly, though, it’s a durable power bank with a high capacity in a small package. You can easily pocket Survivor Power Bank, and at slightly more than half a pound, it won’t weigh you down.
