Moleskine, known mostly for its notebooks, has recently introduced a number of bags. We’ve received the myCloud Briefcase ($210), myCloud Smallpack ($150), and Vertical Device Bag ($115). Both myCloud Briefcase and myCloud Smallpack have luggage tags which connect to the company’s MyAnalogCloud game, which can be used to create a personalized luggage tag. The briefcase and Vertical Device Bag will accommodate a MacBook up to 15”, along with other accessories, while Smallpack can hold a 13” MacBook, plus other items.
All of the bags feature a durable water-repellant exterior fabric. While myCloud Smallpack and Vertical Device Bag come in red or gray, myCloud Briefcase is only available in gray.
myCloud Briefcase is the largest option among the Moleskine bags we’ve received, and it likely has more than enough room and pockets to handle your gear. On top of a 15” MacBook, you could also comfortably store numerous iPads in the briefcase, if you so desired. A pen holder, removable umbrella/water bottle bag, and included collapsible bag are nice extras.
myCloud Smallpack contains many of the briefcase’s same features, just in a slightly smaller package, and as a backpack. Vertical Device Bag is about the same size as Smallpack, and though it lacks some of Smallpack’s more premium touches, it offers a surprising amount of space. It can be carried like a tote, or worn across the back using the included shoulder strap. Pet owners take note: the exterior fabric on these bags can be a bit of a pet hair magnet.
